New magazine, Open Pen, needs you!

New magazine, Open Pen, is about to go to print with its second issue and they sent us the following press release:

Open Pen is London’s first ‘open Literature’ bi-monthly magazine, composed entirely from reader-submitted creative writing. Each issue’s content is decided by competition, where the submitted piece, whether prose, verse, or other type, judged by our editorial team as the most deserving is awarded first prize and top billing on our next issue.
Our aim is to create a journal that is interesting and relevant, ground-breaking in concept, and encourages growth of London’s talented, fertile, literary underbelly, by providing those up-and-coming writers with a place to publish their work.
With issues published once every two months, Open Pen is distributed completely free of charge to independant bookshops and various other stores and outlets across the capital. The magazine is part-funded/ part-sponsored, which enables to us keep the publication free for the public.
Our first issue was released in April and issue 2 is set for a June release. Be sure to keep a look out for us, we’re a must for any aspiring writer or self-respecting fan of new literature.
